If you are changing a font colour when editing a post, it is easiest with bb disabled and wysiwyg enabled (by clicking the [bb]button at the top right). If in bb, it is easiest to deleted the first colour tags before adding new ones.

Double posts are combined anyway, so it shouldn't be much different.

Sorry, I just caught this. So every time I go to post on my story, it will just add to the first message? Or are there a few days in which if I double post it does not merge?

My posts in fanfiction have merged.

It does alert when a new post is merged, but it won't make it a separate post. It's an odd set up, but is understandable.

There may be a time limit on it, like a couple of days or something, but I don't actually know.

Why isn't my siggie separated from the body of my post by a line? Do I have to upload a picture for that to happen?

ETA - Strange. Here it is separated. It wasn't in the last message I posted.

Yes, I saw that. It's in "what's your CoS username" thread. Weird.

Hmm, I've looked at that thread and your post is separated by your signature... Maybe it's just a loading problem?

I don't know whether it's the same with Bill, but on my screen, there's no separation between the body of the message and the signature in the threads where post count is off. There's no separation in the game threads for example. As I said, weird.

I always see the separation line in all the threads (at least for those with signatures) :\

It may have to do with the browser? I still see that annoying square on the upper right hand side of my screen, with different spam messages, every time I open the page before logging on. At least on Mozilla Firefox. I saw on CoS that other people had the same problem.

I don't know about the separation line. I just don't see it in certain threads, the sig looks like it's part of the post. At least as far as Bill Muggle Tiger is concerned. Maybe he's hexed? Hahaha...

Do you folks remember the Dragon Quidditch game we used to play on CoS? That was a lot of fun! I thought that that game had been zapped from CoS, but it turns out that there are still 5 pages kept in the archives, here:

    http://web.archive.org/web....ttp
How do I save this to my computer? If you have a look, you'll see how clever and hilarious this is. It's a gem that shouldn't go into oblivion after CoS closes down for good. There are only 5 pages visible, but it's enough. If someone could help me download those pages, with all the pics, on my computer, they'd earn my everlasting gratitude.

Just came back on and it is normal now. I'll get a screenshot if it happens again.
