Lily's relationship with Snape went back a longer time than most people realised. He was her first
contact with the magical world. How did this impact on Lily and her
relationship with the magical world and Hogwarts?
Could anything have been done by Lily or Petunia to repair their relationship given what we've seen of them as children?
Based on the few things we know about Lily, what sort of friends did she have at Hogwarts.
According to Lily her friends couldn't understand why she gave Snape the time of day ~ what does this say about her character and the

| Nice questions for a Lily thread 
Lily's relationship with Snape went back a longer time than most people realised. He was her first contact with the magical world. How did this impact on Lily and her relationship with the magical world and Hogwarts?
- Hm... hard one. But at the time they got to know each other, Snape was relatively "open" towards Lily regarding the magical world and such. He probably explained more than we directly read and his former opinion on the fact that Lily's muggleborn probably made Lily think the magical world is relatively open and tolerant. Or maybe it didn't have too much impact. Not sure.
Could anything have been done by Lily or Petunia to repair their relationship given what we've seen of them as children?
- No. Unless there would be a way to make Petunia magical.
Based on the few things we know about Lily, what sort of friends did she have at Hogwarts.
- Normal ones. Except for Snape.

- It says that she didn't really care what others thought about her choices, even if those other people were friends. Every friendship was individual and not based on another one.

- Another thing I'm not sure about. But considering mudblood is the N-word of the magical world it definitely had some impact. It made Lily realise how much her (probably best) friend changed. Or how hypocritical he may have been. And I don't think she would have reconsidered anything under normal circumstances.

- Charms
Does Lily have a favorite animal, and if so what is it?
- A dog would fit her... could even imagine her family having one.

- No idea at all.
What do you think Lily's favorite movie(s) or genre(s) were?
- Whatever was popular at the time.
What do you think Lily's favorite TV show(s) or genre(s) were?
- Documentations on foreign cultures.
What do you think Lily's favorite Muggle book(s), author(s) or genre(s) were?
- Don't really imagine her to be that much of a reading person to have a favourite book or genre.
If Lily ever played video games and/or pinball, what do you think her favorite one(s) or genre(s) were?
- Again... don't think she had any favourite ones.
Can Lily swim? Does/would she like it at all? What kind of bathing suit does she choose?
- Yes on both. About the attire... blind guess... a teal bikini.
If you had to pick an actor to play Lily, who would you pick?
- Depends... although the age doesn't fit, I'm fine with her grown-up actress. As child? Don't know.

- What kind of question is that?
